DOCG area for red and white wines in the Italian region of Trade Marks . The Upgrade from DOC to DOCG was in 2011. The zone includes three municipalities in the province of Ancona and 21 municipalities (including the eponymous Offida) in the province of Ascoli Piceno. The two white wines Passerina (also called raisin, sparkling wine and Vin Santo) and pecorino from at least 85% of the variety produced, the remaining 15% may be permitted white varieties. The Rosso is made from Montepulciano (at least 85%), Cabernet Sauvignon, and any other permitted red varieties.
