The named after the village appellation is an enclave within the large area of Bergerac in South West France . The vineyards cover 400 hectares of vineyards on the hill "bad luck" east of the town of Bergerac. With the exception of Saint-Sauveur are all communities within this appellation of AC rosette . The red wine is blended from at least 90% of Fer, as well as Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. Well-known producers are Champarel Château, Domaine de Cros, Château les Grangettes, Domaine du Haut-Pécharmant, Château Terre Vieille and Château Tiregand.
