The most important grape varieties
DOC for dry red, rosé and white wines in the deep south of the Italian region of Tuscany in the countryside Maremma . The zone includes part of the community Orbetello with the eponymous district of La Parrina in the province of Grosseto. The Bianco is blended from Procanico = Trebbiano (30-50%), Chardonnay and Ansonica (30-50%), and any other white varieties permitted (up to 20%). Rosso (also known as Reserve) and are produced from Sangiovese Rosato (70-100%), and other permitted red varieties (30%).
