Pierfranco Baldi

Berries on the nose, cloves and herbs, hint of chocolate, spicy oak. Polished, fairly prominent fruit on the palate, preserved tart berries and some plums, light herbaceous notes and some chocolate, some more light spicy notes, slightly sweetish oak in the background, fine-grained tannins, has substance and some backbone, delicately bitter on a good finish.

Ripe black berries and slightly tart cherries on the nose, hint of red berries, slightly tart floral traces, light spicy oak. Full-bodied and quite juicy on the palate, ripe fruit, fairly prominent, but also quite fine tannins, only very slightly astringent, some more floral traces, light oak, good persistence, very creamy, good to very good finish.
