DOC for a wide range of red and rose wines in the Italian region Piedmont . The area includes 32 municipalities (including Pinerolese) in the province of Torino, Piemonte and the two communities Bagnolo and barge in the province of Cuneo. Rosso and Rosato be blended in any mixture of Barbera, Bonarda, Nebbiolo and Neretto (50-100%), and any other permitted red varieties (50%). The varietal Barbera, Bonarda, Dolcetto, Moscato Doux d'Henry, and are produced from each species (at least 85%), and any other permitted red varieties (15%). The red is from ramie Avana (30-65%), Neretto (20-55%), Avarengo (15-50%), and any other permitted red varieties (35%) blended.
