The estate is located in the municipality Verrenberg, a little haven of Öhringen (Württembergisch lowlands) in the German region Württemberg . The Prince of Hohenlohe have been since 1360 a vineyard estate. The winery and the VDP classification first position Verrenberg is owned by Prince Kraft zu Hohenlohe-Oehringen. The vineyards cover 18 hectares of vineyards, with the white varieties Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Traminer and Kerner, Lemberger, and the red varieties, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, Samtrot, Merlot and Cabernet Franc are planted. The management takes place since September 2008 according to EU regulation Organic Viticulture , HADES , Quadriga and VDP .
