Burg Ravensburg
The estate is located in the municipality Sulzfeld (Kraichgau area) in the German region of Baden (Germany) . It is mentioned in documents already managed since 1251. The eponymous Ravensburg is the former home of the Barons Goler of Ravensburg and one of the greatest surviving castles in the Kraichgau. Since early 2009, the stealing wine to the "estate Heitlinger GmbH" is leased. As Managing Director and Winemaker acts Claus Burmeister, who since early 2009, the winery now Heitlinger heads. The two wineries are only ten miles apart, all wines are vinified in Sulzfeld. The plants remain, however, still completely legally separated wine. In the basement is Jürgen Kern, responsible for field operations, Hans-Jörg Pfleiderer. The vineyards cover 35 hectares of vineyards in the individual layers Castle Ravensburger Francis Dicker , Castle Ravensburger Hussars cap and Castle Ravensburger Löchle , as well as other municipalities and Kürnbach Sulzfeld. They are the varieties Riesling (35%), Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir (25%), Lemberger (25%) and other planted. The top wines from the three individual layers can be marketed as a Grand layers. The estate wines are produced under the name "Baron von Goler."
