The regional appellation wine growing region in the Loire was classified in 1974. The most-developed dry rosé can consist of any parts of the appellations Anjou , Saumur and Touraine come. It is the Cabernet Franc and / or Cabernet Sauvignon (at least 30%), admitted Pineau d'Aunis, Gamay Noir and Grolleau. Well-known producers are Clos de l'Abbaye, Domaine d'Ambinois, Château de Breuil, and Domaine Domaine Ogereau of Trottieres.
