1) The small appellation is an enclave within the large area of Bergerac in South West France . The sweet white wine is blended from Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle. Well-known producers are Domaine de la Cardinolle and Château Puypezat. The area is an enclave in the AC Pécharmant .

2) The red grapes (also Seibel 1000) is an interspecific new breed between an unknown variety of the species Vitis rupestris x Munson (Jager 70). The crossing was made ​​by the French breeder Albert Seibel (1844-1936). On the American continent (Canada), they came as one of France's first hybrid in 1927. It is in Canada and the USA (New York and New Mexico) cultivated. The cultivar provides pink and bright reds.
