The most important grape varieties
DOC area of dry red wine in the Italian region of Tuscany . The zone covers about 30 hectares of vineyards in the commune of Montalcino in the province of Siena. He is 100% authentic from the Sangiovese clone Brunello pressed. Compared to the same field coming from the DOCG Brunello di Montalcino, it is easier (at least 12% alcohol content) before and ready to eat with only one year of extended maturation. The red wine is also known as "young Brunello".
