The Winery Rudi Pichler, Jr.. located in the municipality in the Lower Austrian wine region Wösendorf Wachau . The vineyards cover 10.5 hectares of vineyards in the communes Wösendorf, white churches, and Joching Mautern. You are in the best Wachau vineyards such as Achleiten , Hochrain , Church road, Kollmütz and stone fences. There are cultivated exclusively white wines, which are Riesling (55%), Riesling (35%), Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay and Roter Veltliner. The operating motto is our philosophy, we want our wines to be authentic and obtained by the character of different soils, the microclimates and the winemaker a unique identity. Which assigns to the fact that extremely high value is placed on strict selektioniertes, healthy grapes of the highest quality. The premium wines include, for example, the three qualities Veltliner and Riesling stone, Federspiel and Smaragd, and Pinot Blanc Kollmütz. There are also produced distillates. Slightly muted nose, yellow fruit, nutty and vegetal notes, herbaceous notes, hint of pepper, earthy and mineral notes. Full-bodied on the palate, tart and spicy, fairly cool fruit, vegetal and earthy notes, light yeasty notes, elegant, fairly prominent acidity, very creamy, but also has good grip, earthy nad mineral notes, light nutty notes and some tobacco, hint of laurel, very persistent and has good depth, very good, long finish. Needs time to mature.
