The named after the village appellation (even Sainte-Foy) is located in the east of the large area Entre-Deux-Mers (Bordeaux) in the border area to Bergerac . The small area comprises 250 hectares and is for white wines and red wines. The sweet white wines are mostly from the varieties Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle, and a maximum of 10% Merlot Blanc, Colombard, Ugni Blanc and Mauzac blends. The red wines are vinified from Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot. The wines are those from the Bergerac quite similar.
