The same city named after the small appellation in the northern wine-growing region Savoy above the Lac de Bourget (France's largest lake). The vineyards cover about 100 hectares of vineyards on steep slopes of the upper Rhone. The white wine is a varietal wine made from Roussette (Altesse). The AC Seyssel mousse applies to sparkling wines from flaschenvergorenen Molette, Chasselas, and at least 10% Roussette. Known producers and Clos de la Maison Mollex Péclette.
