DOC for dry red wine in the Italian region Piedmont . The zone of 40 hectares comprises the eponymous municipality in the province of Novara Sizzano. The wine is blended from nebbiolo Chiavennasca = (40-60%), Vespolina (15-40%) and Bonarda Novarese = Uva Rara (up to 25%).
