DOC for red, rosé and white wines in the Italian region of Campania . The zone includes areas of the municipalities Castelvenere, Cerreto Sannita Faicchio, Frasso Telesino, Guardia Sanframondi, Melizzano, San Lorenzello, San Lorenzo Maggiore, San Salvatore Telesino, Solopaca, Telese Terme and Vitulano in the province of Benevento. The Bianco is made from Trebbiano Toscano (40-60%), in any use of Malvasia Bianca di Candia (max. 20%), Malvasia Toscana (max. 20%), Coda di Volpe and Falanghina (together 40-60%), and other permitted white varieties (up to 20%) blended. Rosso and Rosato is made from Sangiovese (50-60%), Aglianico (20-40%), and other permitted red varieties (30%) grapes. With one year aging, and at least 12.5% alcohol by volume content may be the Rosso Superiore call. The varietal types Aglianico and Falanghina must contain at least 85% of each variety, the rest can be approved varieties of the same color. The sparkling wine is made from Falanghina (at least 60%) and other permitted white varieties (up to 40%).
