DOC regional area (including South Tyrol, Alto Adige, or Italian Alto Adige) for a wide range of well over a hundred red, rosé and white wines in the Italian wine-growing area of South Tyrol . The vineyards cover 3,700 hectares. Within the range, there are six geographical zones which are considered as its own DOC areas. These are Bolzano conducting (Italian Colli di Bolzano) Eisacktaler (Valle Isarco) Merano hill (Meranese di Collina) (Santa Maddalena), Terlaner (Terlano) and Vinschgau (Val Venosta). Some are in Bocksbeutel bottled.

The varietal wine types must contain at least 95% of the respective bottle labeled vine, the rest can be approved varieties of the same color.
