The most important grape varieties
Named after the village DOCG area for red wine in the Italian region of Campania . The zone was established in 1970 and then 1993 as DOC classified as DOCG. The vineyards cover 420 hectares of vineyards northeast of Avellino in volcanic mountain slopes in 17 communities.
