DOC area in the Italian region Basilicata . The zone includes all of the vineyards in zuminderst at 800 meters of the three communities Grumento Nova, Moliterno and Viggiano in the province of Potenza. The Rosso (also known as Reserve) is blended from Merlot (zum. 50%), Cabernet Sauvignon (zum. 30%) and other approved varieties (max. 20%). The Rosé is made from Merlot (zum. 50%), Cabernet Sauvignon (zum. 20%), Malvasia Basilicata (zum. 10%) and other approved non-aromatic varieties (max. 20%).
