The most important grape varieties

DOC-range (often also with the German name "Etschtaler" named) for a wide range of red, rosé and white wines. The area extends across the border in two regions. This is Trentino (Southern region of Trentino-Alto Adige) and Veneto . The zone covers the mountain slopes and plains along the river Adige (Adige) of Meran in South Tyrol to Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella in the Veneto region with more than 30 communities in the two provinces of Bolzano and Trento (Trentino), and the three communities Brentino, Dolcè and Rivoli Veronese in the province of Verona (Veneto).

The varietal wine types must contain at least 85% of each variety, the rest can be approved varieties of the same color. These are the least-developed dry Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay (also known as sparkling), enantioselectivity (a synonym for Lambrusco frastagliata Foglia), Pinot Bianco (aka sparkling wine), Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon and Schiava (in Amabile). The Bianco (in Secco and Amabile) is in any blend of Trebbiano Toscano, Nosiola, Sauvignon and Garganega (at least 20% of a species, together up to 100%), and any arbitrary mixture of Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio, Riesling Italico, Chardonnay and Müller-Thurgau (20-100%) blended. Rosso and Rosato (in Secco and Amabile, Rosso as Superiore) in any mixture of Merlot, Pinot Noir, Lagrein, Teroldego, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon (50%), and in any mixture of enantiomers and Schiava (at least 20 % of one variety together to generate 50%). Only in the communities Brentino, and Rivoli Veronese Dolcè in the province of Verona (Veneto), and Avio in the province of Trento (Trento), the Terra dei Forti is produced. It is available in the variants Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, enantioselectivity and Rosso.
