DOC for white wines in the Italian region (island) Sardinia . The area includes the municipalities of San Pietro Baratili, Cabras, Mili, Narbolia Nurachi, Ollastra, Oristano, Riola Sardo, San Vero Milis, Siamaggiore, Simaxis, Simaxis, Solarussa, Tramatza, and Zeddiani Zerfaliu in the province of Oristano. The most typical of the island refers to it as the wine was already in the 16th Century - even on the mainland and in Greece - known. The vines are trained on the flat ground, so soak up the grapes from the sandy limestone soil in the reflected heat. The wine is aged in small, not quite filled barrels. This results in a form with a typical Florhefeschicht (sherry-like) undercurrent. The wine is 100% pure varietal Vernaccia from Oristano (not with the other as Vernaccia is related to named varieties) pressed and has an alcohol content of 15% vol. With three years of age and 15.5% vol, he may be Superiore call. There is also a Liquoroso Secco (also known as Dry Liquoroso) and a Liquoroso Dolce.
