Regional appellation of the French wine-growing region Savoy . The vineyards cover 1,700 hectares. The following communities are as Cru classified and may add their names, although this is partly restricted only to certain types of wine: Abymes, Apremont, Arbin, Ayze, Bergeron, Charpignat, Chautagne, Chignin, Chignin-Bergeron, Cruet, Jongieux, Marignan, Marin , Montmélian, before choosing S-Jean de la Porte St-Ste-Marie and Jeoire Prieuré d'Alloix. There are a variety of homogeneous blends of wines and a wide range of grape varieties. For white wine varieties are approved Aligote, Roussette (Altesse) Jacquère, Chardonnay and Mondeuse Blanche, served in the departments of Ain and Haute-Savoie Chasselas, served in the department of Haute-Savoie Bergeron (Roussanne), and Gringet Roussette d'Ayze and in the Isere department Marsanne and Verdesse. For red wine and rosé approved varieties Gamay, Mondeuse, Pinot Noir and Persan, served in the Savoie department of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, this in the Isere department varieties Étraire de la dui, serene and Joubertin, and a maximum of 20% Aligote, Roussette , Jacquère, Chardonnay, Mondeuse Blanceh, Chasselas, Gringet, Roussette, Marsanne and Verdesse.

The appellation Vin de Savoie applies mousse flaschenvergorene white sparkling wines, the appellation Vin de Savoie pétillant for white sparkling wines. Both appeals are allowed a little differently depending on the department previously mentioned white grape varieties. Well-known producers of the total regional area are Dominique Allion, Domaine de l'Idylle, Louis Magnin, Michel Menetrey, Le Cellier du Palais, La Cave du Prieure, André et Michel Quenard, Domaine Jean-Pierre and Jean-François Quenard, Domaine Raymond Quenard Charles Trosset, Domaine Viallet and Vigneron Savoyard.
