The international wine magazine was founded in 1980. Vinum is published in five country-specific issues, and although German language in Germany (10 times a year) and Switzerland (10 times per year), and French in western Switzerland (6 times a year), Spain (6 times a year) and since 2004 also in Italy ( six times a year). The German editions are identical in the international section. There are regular exhibitions such as the SÃ¼Ãweinmesse Vinoble and various wine competitions held. In 2005, the wine magazine All about wine adopted and incorporated some of the content. With a total circulation of 120,000 copies, is now the biggest wine magazine Vinum Europe. In June 2009 there was a change of ownership. The Swiss publishing house KÃ¼nzlerBachmann Media AG in St. Gallen, acquired by the former owner Landwirtschaftsverlag in Munster, the majority (86%).
