The civil hospital is a modern winery in Wuerzburg, the quality and tradition verpflichtetes, almost 700 year old winery peak in Franconia. At around 110 hectares in the first place, the classic grape varieties, Riesling, Sylvaner, Müller-Thurgau, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir are grown. Known to the public hospital is not only by the renowned vineyards of Wurzburg, stone-harp, inside bar, and Abtsleite Pfaffenberg, but also as the birthplace of the buck bag, the Frankish original bottles. The winery itself is part of the Civic Hospital Foundation, whose original purpose of the foundation, the inclusion of dependent people, is still continued. With each bottle of wine sold, the social commitment of the Foundation is supported and encouraged. The Civil Hospital is a founding member of the Association of German Predicate Wine Estates (VDP).
