The winery is located in the town of Heppenheim in the German region Hessian Mountain Road . It was founded in 1926 by Henry and Elisbaeth Freiberg and his two sons continue to expand. Today it is cleared already in its third generation of Heinz. Jr. and Heinz. Freiberger out. The vineyards cover 15.5 hectares of vineyards in the individual layers Heppenheimer Eckweg, Gulden inch Maiberg, Castle Hill, Steinkopf and Stemmler. They are planted with two-thirds of the varieties Riesling (7,6 ha) and Pinot Gris (3 ha) and Pinot Noir, Muller-Thurgau, Silvaner, Pinot Blanc, Gewürztraminer, Kerner, Chardonnay, St. John, Dornfelder and St. Laurent. It is practiced semi-natural wine. The wines are aged in some traditional großern barrels and partly in stainless steel tanks. There are also sect, sparkling wines, brandies, produced Hefeweinbrände, pomace brandies and liqueurs.
