The winery is located in the municipality H. Lentsch Bronzolo in the lowlands of the province of Bolzano in the Italian wine sector South Tyrol (Area Trentino-Alto Adige ). It was founded in 1882 by purchasing the Gutsbetriebes "Adlerhof" and the inn "Black Eagles" of the two brothers, Norbert Hartmann and Lentsch. Hartmann Lentsch began serving in the inn for his own press wine to. The total property encompasses 35 acres, where vineyards and orchards are operated. Today the business is conducted by the winemaker Klaus Lentsch. The vineyards cover 14 hectares of vineyards, with the red varieties Cabernet Sauvignon (50%), Merlot (20%) and Lagrein (18%) and Vernatsch, and the white wines Goldmuskateller, Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay are planted. Fairly mature nose, earthy and mineral and light vegetal notes, smoky, undergrowth, touch of soup green, blackcurrants, hint of bell peppers. Clear, fairly polished and juicy on the palate, fairly cool, ripe dark fruit, touch of smoky, toasted, spicy oak, undergrowth again, earthy, mineral and vegetal notes, fairly prominent, predominantly mature tannins, good substance and persistence, full-bodied but also quite elegant, has some depth, cedary traces, beginning to show some maturation notes, nutty and earthy notes, juicy with some spicy oak on a very good finish. In excellent shape now, but also good for a few more years of development.
2010-12-05 (87): Black berries and cherries on the nose, herbs and spices, light smoky notes and oak. Clear, cool, juicy fruit on the palate, light acid bite, dark spicy oak, herbaceous notes, light mineral traces in the background, good persistence and has some depth, very good finish.

Clear, polished, elegant and juicy fruit on the palate, spicy oak, smoky and roasted notes, sugar candy and some dark caramel in the background, more earthy, mineral and herbaceous notes, fairly prominent fine tannins, has substance, full-bodied and creamy, but also has a light, elegant acid bite, good persistence and has some depth, contoured, juicy with tart spice on a very good long finish.
