The Hoflößnitz located in the municipality of Radebeul in the German region Saxony . It can look back on over 600 years of winemaking tradition back to the year 1401. Until the 19 Century, the historic center of the grand ensemble winemaking facility and courtly festivities in the Elbe Valley. Beginning of the 20th Century was built a State Viticulture Research and Training Institute. Today, the plant is owned by the city Radebeul and includes a wine museum, a winery, a wine bar and a guest house. The facility is a listed building. Managing Director, Jörg Hahn, as Butler is responsible for the 2008 Felix Hösselbarth.

The vineyards consist of eight hectares in the individual layers of Golden car and Johannisberg (Radebeul). They are planted among other things, with the white varieties Müller-Thurgau, Pinot Blanc, Traminer and Riesling, as well as with the red varieties Pinot Noir and Regent. The vineyards are in accordance with the guidelines of the Organic Viticulture , consistent use of chemical agents, and only use organic fertilizers with the goal of healthy and high-quality grapes. It produces certified organic wines.
