The estate is located in the municipality Flörsheim-Dalsheim (range Wonnegau) in the German wine-growing area of Rheinhessen . The origin dates back to 1789, and emigrated because of the turmoil of the French Revolution, from Switzerland, Johann Leonhard Keller settled in Dalsheim and agriculture and viticulture began to employ. He acquired the property located in pin-acre share "Upper Hubacker" the historical situation Hubacker, which still stands today almost exclusively Riesling with a long-term average yield of 45 hl / ha. In 2000, this parade plot a six-meter-high stone tower of the limestones of the situation in the region and built in order to emphasize their importance. In the family Bible says George Keller (1841-1820) of the special quality of Hubackerweine. Today, the traditional mode of Klaus Keller and his son Klaus-Peter is out.

The vineyards cover 12.5 hectares of vineyards in the individual layers and Bürgel Hubacker (Dalsheim), Silberberg (single location, Germany) (Monsheim), and corrugated house in top plot Abtserde, Parish and Morstein (Westhofen). They are planted with the white varieties Riesling (5,5 ha), Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Sylvaner, and Rieslaner Huxelrebe, as well as with the red varieties Pinot Noir and Dornfelder. In the vineyard and cellar work to strict quality criteria. Maximum emphasis is on healthy and ripe grapes down by selective hand-picking, with the objective situation typical of limestone embossed wines. The musts are fermented with natural yeasts at low temperatures. The fermentation process takes at least eight to ten weeks, with sweet wines up to half a year. The wines are aged in stainless steel or wooden barrel. Of the top sites are large greenhouse production. The winery is a member of the VDP (Association of German VDP) and the Association of Message in a Bottle .
