Western Grapeleaf
In 1941, California first discovered insect that inflicts heavy damage on the vine. The pest is native to Mexico and in several southwestern U.S. states and eating the soft tissue of the leaves, of which there can be only the skeleton left ribs. Therefore, it is also called "Skeletonizer" named (Western Grape Leaf Skelettierer). See also Vine-enemies .
