Wine Country Austria
With around 90% of the total vineyard area is next to this Bergland Austria and Steirerland by far the largest of the three Austrian wine-growing regions. It consists of Lower Austria (eight wine regions), (Four vineyards) and Vienna (A vineyard), which are also each political states. The two provinces were merged in 1999, therefore, in order to produce a wine country to create a too large by European standards, the catchment area. Until August 2009, Vienna was a special wine-growing region. See the table in Österreich .
