The estate is located in the town of Mariano del Friuli (Gorizia) in the Italian region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia . It is since 1978 led by Gianfranco Gallo, who began bottling. The vineyards cover about nine hectares of vineyards with only the white varieties Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Malvasia Istriana, Friulano and Riesling Renano. The planting is 6000 vines / hectare relatively tight, to keep the low Traubenbehang per vine. The yield is limited to white wines for a very low value of just under one kilogram per vine. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wines are each type of wine in stainless steel tanks with long-term storage on the Lees removed or in French barriques. The product portfolio includes various white wines DOC Friuli Isonzo and IGT Venezia Giulia.
