The Wein-Plus Convention has been established as a market and meeting place for the industry, and thus as a serious organizer of wine events. The first Convention, held in Frankfurt in 2013, attracted more than 3 000 visitors, the second event in Munich in 2014 drew more than 5 500 visitors, and the third event in Munich in 2015 attracted 6 300 visitors.
Wein-Plus was established in 1998. The founder, publisher and chief executive of Wein-Plus is Utz Graafmann, the head taster and editor in chief is Marcus Hofschuster. In total, the Wein-Plus team consists of 20 employees.
